LILLIAN AXE Announce First Show With New Singer

October 20, 2004

LILLIAN AXE will play their first live show with new singer, Derrick LeFevre, on New Year's Eve in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Due to the "new" nature of the band and years of fervent fan requests, they will be playing a completely revamped setlist, including many album tracks that have rarely been played at live shows. It's not too late to throw in your own requests if you haven't already. Send your list of AXE tunes that you'd like to hear live to [email protected]. In the meantime, Derrick and the boys will continue to record songs for the new album.

In other news, LILLIAN AXE guitarist Steve Blaze reports that "Slayer Zed and the City of the Dead", the movie starring he and bassist Eric Morris of NEAR LIFE EXPERIENCE, will soon begin airing on New Orleans Cox Cable Channel 10. There will be repeat showings of the local independent movie between the first air date and Halloween. Cox Cable broadcasts into approximately 300,000 homes in the New Orleans area. "Slayer Zed and the City of the Dead" will be released on DVD at a later date.

Also on the LILLIAN AXE-related front, Steve Blaze will hit the road with ANGEL next month. Exact cities and dates can be found at this location.
